We are seeking an experienced Application Manager for our Marketing & Communications (MarCom) team to build, oversee and continuously professionalize the team’s digital capabilities and email-marketing tools. The ideal candidate should have a thorough understanding of digital applications and ensure that our tools are used efficiently and effectively to support our MarCom strategies.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Serve as the main point of contact within the IT department for the MarCom team;

  • Give strategic advice on how to best use technology to optimize marketing efforts and workflow;

  • Collaborate closely with internal IT teams and external partners to ensure the quality and functionality of applications;

  • Analyze incidents that occur and develop solutions to resolve them; provide root cause analysis that allow to improve the processes;

  • Maintain comprehensive documentation for MarCom applications and ensure compliance with the organization’s quality standards.

Additionally, you will work on specific projects:

  • Website: Be the MarCom team’s sparring partner for all website-related developments and act as contact for external suppliers;

  • Website hosting: Manage and optimize our website hosting services, ensuring reliability and performance of the website;

  • Newsletter tool: Set up, manage and optimize our newsletter tool;

  • Video platform: Manage and optimize the video platform, including integration with other marketing tools;

  • Event tool: Manage and optimize the team’s event management tool;

  • Tracking: Set up professional data tracking system for the before-mentioned tools. Analyze and evaluate user behavior and derive optimization measures in collaboration with MarCom;

  • Video studio: Provide technical support for TV studio;

  • Data transfer: Ensure seamless data transfers between various platforms and tools to maximize efficiency.

Requirements

  • At least 2-4 years of experience in application management or marketing technologies;

  • Strong knowledge of state-of-the-art technology, especially related to website development and hosting, email-marketing, social media, AI-based tools, tracking applications, video platforms, event management tools and data transfer processes;

  • Self-motivated, proactive, patient and assertive; strong sense of ownership and problem-solving abilities;

  • Strong analytical skills, with a highly structured and goal-oriented approach to work;

  • Excellent communication skills in English (German is a plus);

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (or equivalent higher education) in Information Technology or a related field is a plus.
