Cookies and local storage on JobMarkt24

Cookies are small text files that your browser stores when you visit a website. Web applications also use the browser's local storage and cache. JobMarkt24 uses these technologies sparingly and exclusively to operate the Platform.
We do not use third-party tracking, analytics or advertising cookies. For this reason we do not display a cookie banner; the cookies we use are technically necessary for using the Platform.
1. Technically necessary cookies
1.1These cookies are required for login, security and the basic functions of the Platform. Without them you cannot log in and your language setting is not saved.

2. Local storage and offline functionality
2.1Some settings are stored not as cookies but in your browser's local storage. This data does not leave your device and is not transmitted to us.

3. Embedded third-party services
3.1Individual pages embed third-party services that may set their own cookies or use comparable technologies. They are only loaded when you use the respective feature.
- Google Maps Platform: address autocomplete for location details (e.g. company address, job location) and map display; provider: Google Ireland Ltd.
- CARTO / OpenStreetMap: map tiles and geocoding on the job map
- Stripe: payment form when purchasing packages; Stripe sets cookies for fraud prevention once the payment process is started
- ui-avatars.com: generation of placeholder avatars from initials when no profile picture is set

4. Managing cookies
4.1You can view, delete or block cookies and clear local storage in your browser settings at any time. Please note that the Platform does not work fully without the technically necessary cookies; in particular, logging in is not possible without the session cookie.
4.2Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Edge offer the corresponding options in their settings under "Privacy".
5. Changes to this policy
5.1If we introduce new features that require additional cookies, we will update this policy. Should cookies requiring consent be used in the future, we will obtain consent in advance. Questions may be sent to info@royaldoener.ch.
