Security and data protection at JobMarkt24

JobMarkt24 processes your data in accordance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP). The connection to the platform is encrypted end to end (HTTPS), and passwords are stored only as hashes. Your data is never sold to third parties.

As a candidate, employers only see your full documents once you apply to them. In addition, you can decide in the settings whether your profile is visible to employers in the talent pool. If this option is disabled, you are not shown in the candidate search.

As an employer, you only see the data of candidates who have applied or who have deliberately made their profile visible. Internal notes and ratings remain within your company.

Your account security starts with your password. Use a long, unique password and change it in the security settings if you suspect it has been compromised.

• Use a password manager and never reuse a password.
• Enable two-factor authentication in the security settings.
• Always sign out on shared devices.
• JobMarkt24 will never ask you for your password by email.

All employers on JobMarkt24 are registered and postings are reviewed. Stay alert nonetheless: legitimate employers never ask for money for an application, training or equipment, do not request copies of your ID or bank card before a contract, and do not push you to communicate outside the platform via messenger apps.

If a posting or message seems suspicious, report it using the "Report" function on the job page or by email to support@jobmarkt24.ch. We review every report.

You have the right to access, correct and delete your data at any time. In the account settings you can export a copy of your data and permanently delete your account. Deletion removes your profile, CVs, applications and messages; statutory retention obligations, for example for invoices, remain unaffected.

Technically necessary cookies are required for login. Optional cookies for statistics can be adjusted at any time in the cookie banner or the cookie settings. Which emails you receive – for example about job alerts, applications or messages – is controlled in the notification settings.
